Course Description
Two hours of discussion and three hours of laboratory per week, plus a field project and professional experience. Practical experience with tools used to monitor and manage wildlife populations. Designed for biology students wishing to pursue careers as wildlife biologists. Spring. Prerequisite: EFB 390. 4cr.
My Role
I served as the graduate teaching assistant for this course. My duties included 1) developing slides for lecture portions of lab based on previous iterations of the course, 2) presenting information to students to prepare them for lab activities, 3) guiding students through lab activities (e.g., statistical modeling using programs PRESENCE and MARK), 4) grading exams and written assignments, 5) managing undergraduate teaching assistants, 6) holding office hours each week.
